Our Annual Multicultural Dinner

Thursday, November 19 · 6:00–8:00pm · Hoboken High School Cafeteria

  • Free and open to all Connors families. No RSVP required.
  • A potluck-style buffet. Every family brings a dish, and together we fill the table.
  • A dance party with Hoboken’s own DJ Bri. Request a song below!
  • This one is not at Connors. Join us in the Hoboken High School cafeteria.
  • New this year: We moved the event from spring to fall. As we head into the season of thanks and giving, we’re celebrating how thankful we are for our incredible Connors community.
  • Cultural clothing welcome. Wear something that celebrates your heritage, if you like.

Also at this event

  • Shop our Swag Swap Sale. Preloved Connors spiritwear, professionally laundered and sold at a deep discount!
  • Drop off your ThanksGIVING Dinner Baskets donations. Bring any non-perishables and place them in the collection box at check in. See the wish list.

Bring a Dish

Every family attending contributes to the buffet: main dish, appetizer, side dish, or dessert. Enough to feed 10+ people.

  • Any dish with a story works. Something tied to your culture, heritage, or nationality. Or a household favorite, a restaurant specialty, or something to round out the buffet like salad or bread. Homemade, store-bought, restaurant takeout, anything goes!
  • Make it a small bite. Cut up and ready to serve as finger food.
  • Hot dishes arrive hot. We have no way to heat food up or keep it warm.
  • Use a disposable tray, or label anything you want back, including the serving utensil.
  • Bring an index card or a small piece of paper with the name of the dish, where it’s from, and the ingredients.
